What is the bigger controversy?

That this Florida politician (he calls himself a God Guy) led a campaign that this man ran a campaign on the preconception that Christianity is the only religion deserving of respect, or that the big story is his arrest over masturbating in public eight years ago? There's too many things in here to rail about this late at night.
