Six Months Ago...

......maniacs crashed planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Depending on your temperment, you may want to avoid television news, particularly if you still have trouble handling the images. The newspapers seem content to let this semi-anniversary pass without comment, if the Post is any indication (just one story today, and one yesterday). With events going on in various parts of the Middle East, with and without relation to the attacks on the US, as well as everything else in the world, I guess there was too much news to deal with the (I really need a better word here) nostalgia.
