Surprising things Florida just don't understand.*

Spongebob Squarepants -- Good.

Homemade fireworks -- Bad.

I won't comment on the fireworks, but I want to know what in Spongebob could have elicited these responses:

• I watched it, and I really don't want to be associated with it.
• I'd rather for SpongeBob to maybe do his thing somewhere else.
• I can't fathom why it's a square, synthetic sponge
  

But then, I don't get why NASCAR has such an appeal. I doubt it has anything to do with the drugs. Otherwise, they'd understand Spongebob!
People, pray for this state.
