It is an actual business.

In today's Boondocks (which I read yesterday), Huey is making fun of Riley's extreme laziness. Riley is hungry but doesn't want to go to the kitchen and get himself the food, so he says offhand, "Someone should start a delivery service where people come to your house and bring you stuff from different rooms when you don't feel like getting up.... I can't believe nobody's done this yet."

Of course, Huey retorts "I'm guessing because anyone lazy enough to think this is a good business idea probably lacks the requisite entrepreneurial drive to execute it." The thing is, there is a business built around people paying other people to do stuff around their homes, like get and prepare food. They're called butlers and maids, and they are providence of the wealthy. I'm amazed that Huey and Riley has never heard of this service.
