Monday Arts...
I made reference to a sketch of mine in Resolution #3. It appears below, but first here are some digital art sites I found over the holidays... Plus it was a slow day and I have nothing else to say today.
ShowerGate, It's in French, but according to the Babelfish Language Mangler it's a tutorial site showing how to draw...well, a comic about a girl taking a shower. Actually, there are some lessons that are interesting to me, since I have no formal art training.
Digital Medusa, the theme here is Medusa. There are also some personal sites.
Ronnie Del Carmen, Enrico Casarosa. I bought the book Fragments from them... Worth the $25.
Juan Valdez, A very good artist whom specialized in mythical creatures and human to animal transformations. I'm not into the latter but he is very talented with drawing non-caucasians. It's slightly distressing that I have to look to the TF scene to find drawings of non-whites, but it's just probably that I'm not looking hard enough. Anyway, he seems to be doing well for himself, having just gotten a job as well. Shame that that will cause him to leave the internet.
