Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow.

The forecasters that know all has decreed that in the year of the Lord Twenty-Zero-Two, of the Nineteenth of January, snow shall precipitate from the heavens.

Unfortunately, this is the third such time they predicted winter weather, and remarkably they were wrong three times before. (They missed an ice storm that came out of nowhere to muck us up on Wednesday of last week.) With that in mind, I'm going to grade the experts. Starting with this storm, whenever the experts predict winter precipitation, I'm going to keep a record of it, and compare it to what really conspires. At the end of the season, I'm going to rank the weather teams on reliability. The winner will get...well let's not kid ourselves, I'm not the AMS, the NWA or the Washington Post. I have the readership of 5 and the journalistic and meteorological prestige of a pretzel. Let's end this entry before I lower my self-worth any more.
