Before I step out, I just want to note for the public record that the CBS Evening News opened the broadcast tonight with a story on the Dow breaking 8,000 -- going down, that is. This is contrary to what I would have expected them to open with -- the march to war on Iraq. ABC World News Tonight opened with that story. I don't know what NBC Nightly News will open with. (It airs at 7pm here, when I will be out.)
I'm not going to get into some argument about media bias. I'll save it for Bernie Goldberg, Ann Coulter, and Bob Somerby to fight it out amongst themselves.
