"People don't trust our ability to run an election," says the mayor, Alex Penelas.

Why would you think that?

It's not like you opened polling places late, or had poll workers leave early, or forgot to teach the poll workers how to activate the new voting machines. It's not like you told some people that they were dead, or told others to go to the wrong polling place or anything like that. It's not like you lost ballots, or left them in a warehouse instead of counting them. And it's not like you had a computer error where all the Democratic votes were inadvertently recorded as Republican votes

But, what am I talking about? You put a fashion model in charge of this, so you couldn't have possibly foreseen this comedy occurring.

Florida, maybe you should sit these election things out. At least until we can get you international observers.
