The President's Tourette's Syndrome...

No, this isn't serious.

I noticed that George W. Bush cannot mention businesses without prefixing it with the word "small". In the press conference that just ended with him and Prime Minister Blair, he came around to explaining how a peaceful Israel/Palestine would be beneficial to businesses... excuse me, small businesses. You'd think of all the times where that prefix was superfluous, here would be one. Of all the times he mentioned business, has he ever used the word unadorned with the prefix "small" or its brother "big"?

Has he become so paranoid of people describing him as the handmaiden to big business, that smallbusiness became a compound word in his mind?
