Montgomery County and other law enforcement officials are reinvestigating a shooting that occurred on September 14th in White Oak, MD, at the Hillendale Beer and Wine Shop, reported WUSA-TV at 11pm last night. (video Windows Media format-- high bandwidth, low bandwidth. Caution, this info is about halfway into the 10 minute video, and WinMedia doesn't allow you to seek forward or backwards through the video stream.) Basically, the employee at the liquior store was wounded by a single bullet, much like the victims of the past week. Authorities want to reexamine the ballistics from that shooting to see if there any link to the recent shootings. There should be more info later today on this.
I'm always the last to know. Arts and Letters Daily went the way of the other great sites like Suck and SatireWire. Good websites are getting harder to find! Sigh
Wait a minute...What's this? Philosophy and Literature will take on the torch? I guess a Phoenix can rise from the ash.

I just walked in on the end part of the latest press conference involving the sniper attacks. It was all about Hillendale. Anyway, the tests on the bullet came back inconclusive, or as the ATF said, "We can't link it to the shootings, but we can't rule it out." They do say that the wound on the victim (he survived) was consistent with the other sniper attacks. I'll post more on this later.
This gets sicker...
WUSA TV reports that at the spot where the suspected sniper stood to shoot the thirteen-year-old boy, police found a tarot card.
The Death Card.
Mike Buchanan reports that written on that card was a short note to police.
"Dear Policemen, I am God."

Update. Video and article to Tarot Card Story
WUSA9News.com just posted a text story and video stream to the tarot card story I posted earlier. However, I have yet to see any other news organizations corroborate this report.
Update: The Washington Post also reports this information.
